About
Sannidhyam:
We always receive this question from seekers: "How do we, in the modern day world, conceptualise and implement spiritual practise on a day-to-day basis, so that it can become an achor in our daily life?"
In Sannidhyam retreat, you will spend 5 days with Maa Parvathy Baul, who will guide us into daily spiritual practise rooted in the yogic Baul tradition and in her personal practise.
Sannidhyam means to be near. In this way, one is able to be close to a Master practitioner and get into the daily routine of a practitioner, so one can discipline oneself on the spiritual path.
Maa Parvathy Baul will be conducting this retreat as the only teacher.
We will learn to sing Baul songs and delve into the deeper yogic meaning of the songs, which contain the spiritual wisdom. We will practise Baul movement and dance, which is a moving pranayama.
Being in the nearness and daily routine of a Master is a chance to get an orientation on the spiritual lifestyle - which is very different. It will give an opportunity to start thinking of an alternative way of looking at life.
Sannidhyam is for those who already have faith in guru, the path of guru and want to bring guru yoga into their lives.
It is not for those who would just like to come for singing and dancing.
This is the only retreat exclusively guided and taught by Parvathy Maa. It is an intensive retreat that requires sincere spiritual work.
