This year, the retreat will culminate into Parvathy Maa's 50th birthday anniversary on 25th October - full moon, which will be a big celebration of serving the divine with great adoration. On each of the evenings of the retreat leading up to the full moon and Maa's anniversary, devotional offerings by different bhaktas will be presented in the evenings. The evening offerings are open to all.
About
Sri Krishna Raas Utsav is about serving the divine with great adoration.
It will consist on two aspects: aaradhana anga and dharana anga.
In the aaradhana anga, we will focus on celebrating and serving the deity through chanting Sankirtana, Abhishek, Bhog offering and offerings of Sringara Seva, Sangeetha Seva and Nritya Seva. It includes the offering of music and dance in a unique way to be immersed in the bhava and bhakti.
The dharana anga will focus on meditation on Sri Krishna through mantra upasana and will include ritual elements pertaining to mantra sadhana.
It will be a fulfilling experience for the participants to everyday traverse between the meditative aspect as well as celebratory aspect in a seamless way, until the celebration and meditation conclude and culminate in form of celebrating Raas Utsav on the final day.
The retreat is hosted and held by Maa Parvathy Baul and Sri Ramachandra and will entail offerings by devotional artists and Baul anuragis.
On each evening, different devotional offerings will be presented. These evenings are open to everyone, even those who did not register for the rest of the retreat.
