Sanatan Grāma Mahotsav
Our annual Mahotsav that takes place on the sacred occassion of Janma thithi of Sri Sanatan Das Baul on January 26th and 27th. During this Mahotsav many Baul Sadhus come together to celebrate Baul rituals and also take part in all night Baul singing. On the following day, 27th January, annadan seva happens to over ten thousand villagers from surrounding villages. This annadan seva is conducted in the auspicious precincts of Sanatan Siddhashram.
Subarna Bālya Gyān Hriday -
This unique project enables holistic learning for over 45 village children from neighbouring villages. These learning sessions are conducted during the weekends under the able guidance of seasoned teachers and educators. Children learn a spectrum of crafts and skills such as yoga, dance, theater, martial arts, visual art, nature awareness etc. This is a very popular program with increasing enrollments every year. This program has been running successfully now for over five years.
Project Jivāsraya -
Ashram has a Go Shāla with family of six cows and a bull. Additionally eight dogs are sheltered in the ashram. This ever growing beautiful animal family is well attended to by dedicated staff, who ensure their health and well being round the clock. Periodic medical check ups by qualified veterinary experts are enabled from time to time.
Project Pushti -
Sanatan Siddhashram has enables sustainable agricultural practices through organic farming. This not only ensures self sustainability of the ashram , but additionally produce from the agricultural activities contribute significantly for periodic annadan seva and annual annadan seva. Sanatan Siddhashram has succeeded in enhancing soil profile through these sustainable practices and in the future would like to enable knowledge transmission of these best practices to Village communities.
